We would like to thank the Brisbane City Council Libraries and the State Library of Queensland for supporting the Association and parents of children with Down syndrome. They have taken steps to introduce our list of recommended resources, for service providers and organisations who work with people who have Down syndrome, into all Brisbane libraries. You can find the list here. Our vision is for all Queensland libraries to stock these resources and we are working our way towards this. Brisbane City Council Libraries are also going to remove outdated materials from their shelves and would appreciate feedback on obsolete items.
