The Australian Breastfeeding Association provides telephone counselling, easy to read booklets, useful products and local support groups. They may be of assistance if you are experiencing difficulties with feeding or you want some encouragement

Families with children of any age with special needs can join for access to the Noah's Ark Resource and Toy Library. This service is available state-wide. Families in Brisbane also have access to Early Intervention Playgroups and MyTime groups for parents.

Inclusion and Professional Support Program

The Inclusion and Professional Support Program provided by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations aims to support childcare centres to include children with disabilities.

Inclusion Support Agencies throughout Queensland support child care centres to build an inclusive environment for all children .

QPPD- Queensland Parents of People with Disability

QPPD defends justice and rights for people with disabilities by exposing exclusionary practices, speaking out against injustices and promoting people with disabilities as respected, valued participating members of society. QPPD operates a number of parent support and action networks around issues such as inclusive education and inclusive lifestyles. It has a statewide advocacy focus with contacts throughout Queensland.
